You require a Windows machine, running a refreshed (Updated) version of Google Chrome.
Steps to view the version of chrome browser you are using:
1. Click on the Option button (3 dots) at the top right. 2. Click Help. 3. Click About Google Chrome.

If you have the latest version it would show - Google chrome is up to date.

To update Google Chrome: 1. On your computer, open Chrome. 2. At the top right, click More . 3. Click Update Google Chrome. If you don't see this button, you're on the latest version. 4. Click Relaunch.
Utilization: Well, this tool runs in background periodically but you can also do a manual scan.
Simply open your chrome browser and type -> chrome://settings/cleanup in the address bar and Enter. Then click on FIND. OR Go to the Settings, Click Advanced. There you have, Clean up Computer under Reset and clean up. Click on Clean up Computer, then FIND. Below is how you will see.

Click on FIND and the scanner will run.

This is not a general purpose malware scanner, it focuses on things that affects Google Chrome.
Try this if your chrome is responding slow.
